AUDIT SUMMARY BY NABL :
Omega Consultant Services, TESTTNG TABORATORY, KOLKATA is engaged in chemical, mechanical testing of water Metals & building materials samples received from outside customers.
i) Lab has well documented 4- level quality system, implemented as per IS/ISO/IEC: 17025 -2005 in the form of quality manual, procedure manual, SOP,s & work instructions.
ii) The document control system is followed in the lab. lS, BS, ASTM standard methods are being followed.
iii) There are sufficient testing persons with essential qualifications & experience in relevant field. Quality manager & Technical manager has under gone training in IS/ISOIEC: 17025.
iv) The equipments are available as per scope of testing with valid calibration. Equipments are placed in controlled environmental conditions.
v) Internal audit carried out on 10-07-2013 covering all the clauses. The management review has been done on 20.07.2013 covering all the agenda points.
vi) MU has been calculated for tests parameters as per scope. Lab is carrying out internal quality checks, retesting of retained samples and analysis of results are done. Laboratory has participated in ILC with 5 labs in chemical in August 2013 for 3 parameters in chemical & Mechanical each in TMT bar with satisfactory z score Lab. had also participated in ILC in June 2012 for 6 products in chemical &
3 products in Mechanical with satisfactory z score.
vii) Lab has prepared plans for 4 year PT participation.
viii) Customer complaints and feedback from customer are regularly monitored.
ix) CRM,s are available with traceability.
x) Housekeeping is satisfactory and safety aspects are taken care by lab.
